Responsible Gaming

This page sets out what this site can and cannot do about gambling risk, and gives practical advice for deciding how you gamble if you choose to. It does not describe any operator's tools, and it does not manage anything on your behalf.

Understand What This Site Cannot Switch On For You

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion all belong to an account held with an operator. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check its status, or enforce it.

Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any check of that kind happens at the destination you reach after following an operator link. Each of the 10 operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.

Everything you can actually do with money happens after you leave this site. Each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. There is also no advertising or behavioural profiling network in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on prior behaviour.

Find the Independent Help Links on This Page

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org and gamcare.org.uk. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

Decide Your Limits Before You Start

Set an amount before you begin and treat it as already spent. Deciding in advance, away from the moment of play, keeps the decision separate from the excitement of a session and from any run of results.

Never chase a loss. Trying to win back money already lost tends to increase the size of the loss rather than recover it, because the decision is made under pressure rather than by plan.

Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Using money you cannot afford to lose turns a leisure cost into a debt, which changes the consequences of a bad session considerably.

Take breaks during play. Stepping away for a few minutes interrupts the momentum of a session and gives you a chance to check whether you still want to continue.

Involve someone else early, while it is still entertainment and not a problem. Speaking with someone before things escalate makes the conversation easier and the options wider than waiting until money or time lost has become serious.

Know Where the Eighteen-and-Over Restriction Applies

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. This site does not verify age itself; that check, like the account controls above, sits with the operator once you follow a link away from here.
